| Is there a way to get my "Downloads/File Category"" section to show just the image of the file added to my main page? I noticed that the "Site News" section leaves the images on my main page but i believe its because the "Site News" section is the main page. So when someone uploads a file to my "Downloads/File Category" section. How do i get the picture preview to show on the main page? Thanks for your help in advance, Rob

| Thanks, i just learned how to use the informers for the file catalog. The information is showing on my main page but without images. The code is a simple jscript line with the address to the download section so i cant change much and the images are going to be the main reason for this informer.

| Blueclipse28, to customize your informer go to CP -> Informers -> find the informer you need and click "Informer template".
I'm not "man", "sir" or whatever. I'm female! About signatures, screenshots etc...

| Blueclipse28, you can see the list of available codes under Informer template. You need $IMG_URL1$ $IMG_URL2$ or $IMG_URL3$

| Sunny, I understand all of the code stuff and where to get it. I put the codes in but the problem that i am having is that the pictures are not showing up on the main page. The description and everything else that i coded into the informer is working just fine. All i get for the pictures are a page with a tear in the middle meaning the picture is not being pulled from the informer and the download section. I would hate to leave a link here but please look at my site to see what i am talking about, its the main page. Thanks. www.blueclipse28.ucoz.com feel free to delete the link when you look. Also, what is the code for the flashing PM link. Where it flashes red when you have a new message. I had this code on my page but i lost it somewhere along the coding. thanks again.

| Blueclipse28, how do you add images to an entry? You must enable "Images" field in module settings and add images you want to display as attachments. Then the code will work fine. Quote (Blueclipse28) Also, what is the code for the flashing PM link. W That's off topic but: Code <?if($IS_NEW_PM$)?><script type="text/javascript">function flashit(id,cl){var c=document.getElementById(id);if (c.style.color=='red'){c.style.color=cl;}else {c.style.color='red';}}setInterval("flashit('upml','')",500)</script><bgsound src="http://s101.ucoz.net/img/fr/pm.wav" loop="1" volume="0" balance="0"> <?endif?><?endif?>
I'm not "man", "sir" or whatever. I'm female! About signatures, screenshots etc...

| Thank you very much for getting me in the right direction. That was exactly the problem. Images have been uploaded and the code works like a charm now.

| vinodhkanna(^_^), in left side menu. Make sure you selected 'Inactive' part of the menu which is below it. Select 'Inactive' and there will be File Catalog.
