Site map is generated only by the site owner like you.. If you have a website, you are the one who provide site map for your site. On my opinion, site map is like a table of contents for the users to easy navigate your website.

Not for users. Search engines. Nice try. Needs to be machine readable. Not human readable.

Did you mean to post something? I don't like the idea of manually maintaining a site map of any sort for a site this complex. Come on. Individual forum posts in the map? That is what I want Google to index.

If you will use http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
It will scan you website from start to end and
generate a Sitemap code for you.

You can use the link that Rake gave you, but
there you have to do averything manually which
is time consuming and confusing...
