| I only have 3 members that are my friends but i am not getting any outside traffic. I added my website to google but got no results.

| Well you can't really expect to have big numbers of hits with only adding it to google.
You have to advertise as much as possible in places where it's allowed.
There are tons of other search engines to add your site to, which should gain some more traffic to your website (at least it worked for me). Also, search google for website promotion tutorials.

| Ok, Ive stayed up alot this passed week building and perfecting my site... I will show it to you.. http://computergaming.clan.su/ The problem is im not getting any users
(accept my wife) Is there something Im doing wrong?? Ive put it out there to as many search engines as I could
and included it in as many posts as I could without getting modded... I get the occasional guest here and there but they come,stay for about 10min and leave.... Maybe I should just take the site down all together.... I know its only been up for 5 days but most sites at least have a decent number of users in 5 days..
(5?10?) What do you think???

| Chrono31, website promotion is not that easy. First of all your website must have content, and you website is almost empty. If a user will come to your website sure he/she will leave because he can't find there anything. There are a lot of info about site promotion on the Internet, search it and read. | I agree with sunny your site does not have much to it, try adding in a few things, such as some computer game reviews on your entrys page, consider making new pages with page editor on your CP , and just making your site "fun" and have "Information" and other great things a sucessful site needs.  -Matthew

| Well from being a webmaster for awhile(other places), I found that sites with unique themes are more attractive, so don't be afraid to try something new! If you make a site similar to others or even go as far as using other's content, your site would look like a boring clone of another.
