Okay what I noticed is that the $SITE$ field in comments (e.g. in the File Catalog module) doesn't work. I can't find a way to add that field.

Nope still the same problem as far I'm conserned. Please add the field to the default template allso because I'm not really sure exactly how the field's html should look. I'm using design # 853 if that's any help for you
