1. Suggestion concerns: For certain groups to be able to create private blogs and articles between thereself/or groups...

2. The main point of the suggestion: To increase users permissions.

3. Argument (why uCoz needs this feature): Because some members may want to make some private blogs, or articles, to keep there infomation on, or keep memo's...ect

The reason I suggested this, is because im working on a business project for different companies.
And its made for different companies to come and register, and make memo's, keep details and such on the site.
Ive changed Blogs, to Memo Board, and when users register they choose to be either:

  • Site Member
  • Business Employee
  • Business Management
  • Business Leader

Also, only Business Management, and Business Leader can make and see blogs, but, this isn't safe, because normal members can register perposely as a Business Management or Leader, and seek the infomation. Also different companies can steel infomation, which isn't safe.

I need it so, that different groups can make a blog/article, and choose it to be either public, or private.
    Public:
All users can see it, which have the ability to view the module entry.

    Private:
Only the blog/article creater can view, or users chosen by the entry creator, can view, or comment on the entry.

This will make the site secure for the companies private infomation, and when set private, not even administration can see the data, unless chosen by the entry creator.
I really need this type of thing on my site, because I already have a subscribed building company to my site, Sheperds Construction which is one of the biggest contruction companies in England.

    Best Regards, Mistory

Mistory, use File catalog or Directory or Publisher module instead of blog and setup that module as you wish. I mean that you can use any content module to create a blog.

Thanks but I mean, to be able to make it a private blog, so no members can see it except the author and selected users.
