Pancake, CodeAcademy isn't bad at all if you learn well using unit by unit learning methods. ) Practical application at times is painful for the server side languages but for general HTML/CSS it's good.

citana, I've found most of the online step-by-step methods for HTML/CSS are relatively decent. People give CodeAcademy/W3Schools quite a lot of quack but I've found if they're used as a stepping stone from frameworks such as HTML4.1 (which is unfortunately what is still being taught most of the time nowadays within education) and HTML5 they provide a smooth transition introducing the concepts as people progress.

Now im being sent email from myself to myself when infact its not myself. biggrin

I tried going into the source and trace it that way but nothing must be coded

I did however find an I.P. address from one email I contacted this user and he said it wasnt from him
not being stupid here if a ip says its you then most of the time its you
that said I got this guys address and local view of the house just in case it really is him name phone its all here

But anyway looking at all options here one would know that one would be traced
so given that thought one might have hacked into one guy to hack another

Now I got an email from ebay when infact its clearly not ebay
so this tells me that the my thoughts about them hacking one to hack another could be true
and that the guy I thought it was might really not be the guy I thought it was
SO...Im going to need help track this guy
Any ideas ?

Pancake, It could be someone in his local LAN network, If it's not him. Some could be accessing his WiFi. It could have been easy to track the guy if he was using a custom domain to email you by having a look at the domains registry.

Xayaan, I log in my email from my iPad and it says it's from me. My email.
I log in on a computer and I get a fake email like no-reply@whatever
Or some random coded text or from a company that didn't really send it.
So do you think it's a neighbor around me ?
Is there something i could do to trace this guy ?
i get all kinds of random emails from this evil man child.
I can tell its a kid or someone in there teens. Cause it's the same random junk.
This one guy I was talking about how I thought it might be this one guy
The guy I contacted to see if it was him...
Well when I thought it was him I sent a sample of adult diapers to him lol
And a tampon sample.
But yeah help me find this guy.
Thanks.

Pancake, I think you might be reading into this a bit too deeply. Spam emails are a common aspect of modern technology, something I encounter on a weekly basis myself. The second your email is listed anywhere online you can receive scams, spam messages selling you all sorts of things, and business proposals from this company or that company all because someone wants to make a buck out of you at the end of the day if you're taken in by what these messages are offering.

Tracing via IP is a bit of an empty effort as many ISPs use dynamic IP's which don't remain the same each time the modem connects to the internet. Aside from all that, I really wouldn't read to deeply into these emails, or be too worried about them. Unless they're scam emails which identify you personally, it's best to ignore them and click the delete button just as quick as they appeared in your Inbox.

If you do think these are being sent from your own address to yourself, however, I'd highly advise looking at upgrading your antivirus and firewall software to one which lets you actively monitor incoming/outgoing connections both on LAN/WLAN/WAN. The alternative (assuming you're running Windows) would be to configure advanced protocol's in Windows Firewall. Maybe even contact your email provider and see if they can determine the source of the email?

Good luck! smile

I guess ...but it coming from my email to me is annoying cause it doesn't go to junk mail.
