Time for changes |
Dear Forum members! Don't you think that it is time to change our Community Forum, to make it more modern and up-to-date? The forum design haven't been updated since the time of forum creation. So now we are glad to announce that we are starting the update process! What is going to be changed? Here you can discuss all innovations and posts your remarks. Dear users, our forum redesign is complete! Now taking on a fresh new appearance we are happy to present the new uCoz Community Forums design.
Please feel free to leave your own comments, remarks, and - if in case you've found an error - errors, here in the thread so that we may make it the best it can be. I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.

1. Group icons will be completely replaced by new icons. - Checked
2. Forum structure will be reviewed. Some boards will be moved, some deleted, some new created. - Checked 3. Forum icons will be changed as well. - Checked 4. I feel slightly obsessive over these updates, I keep finding myself checking on my iPhone every couple of hours. That's what happens when you've used the same forum for over 5 years without any changes
Looking at the RU Forum, there are plenty of buttons near the top. I'm not sure what they're for (I don't read Russian), but maybe a button on the English Forum for 'Quick Guide for uCoz' or whatever. That can go to a thread that goes through all the basics and directs them to other relevant threads. Just a suggestion Make people feel welcome. |

The buttons near the top in the blue bar are for official uCoz projects. The large grey ones are members, new posts and the forum guidelines. I believe with your suggestion we are going to have a notice displayed to users that have been registered for less than a week, this would lead to the Welcome Thread - it will be reviewed when we finish the updates with new links and information. CodeResolution, we're currently planning to release the full forum design next week. Some further minor changes will also most likely occur.

Are there any update about Forum editor?
