Please, read the Terms now to avoid unpleasant surprises in future.

If you still have questions, feel free to post them here.
All complaints about violations of the uCoz Terms of Use should be forwarded to the uCoz Abuse Service here: http://www.ucoz.com/abuse (the form at the bottom of the page).

Do you have to have to little 'powered by uCoz' button at the bottom of the page or could you delete the button and replace it with say, 'This website is powered by uCoz' and just have it with plain text and no hyperlinks to the uCoz Homepage so in other words, is it legal? My second question is with the domain, is there anyway on getting a personal, free .com domain without paying? (e.g- www.doctorwhoofficial.com) I tried searching it up typing 'free domains' in the search page in the forum but starbright mentioned .tk not .com

Please someone help me. sad

1.Hiding or removal of ucoz banner is illegal resulting by means of deletion of your sites.
2.You can't delete it but u can change the look of it.
control panel > settings > Ad banner customization > uCoz banner and copyright adjustment > Appearance of uCoz copyright:

2.

No. buy a .com domain from godaddy or anywhere and u can attach to your site(ucoz not provide a .com domain feature).

Well, if your website will be reported as an abusive one and the uCoz staff will get complaints about your website, it will be, most likely, shut down.

Roger_James, as a rule music files have copyright, therefore if copyright holders will send us a report about copyright infringement then you will be first asked to remove the files, then (if you won't do it) your website will be blocked. So it's up to you to decide.

Probably no as the files won't be located on our servers.

8. Spamming to promote your website
I got a question from one of my users on one of my sites asking to explain what exactly the 8th rule mean.
Does it mean that you create the site on uCoz to spam other website or does it mean you spam other website to get the traffic to your site or what ever else it could mean?
