Today I submitted my site for adsense and I got a reply from them stating-

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after
reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at
this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

Issues:
- Page Type

---------------------

Further detail:
Page Type: In order to participate in Google AdSense, publishers' websites
and application information must satisfy the following guidelines:

- Your website must be your own top-level domain (www.example.com and not
www.example.com/mysite).

So there is no other way except buying a top level domain?

A top-level domain is one like mysite.com, mysite.net. and if you have the default mysite.ucoz.com you have a sub-domain.

They do not aprove it because of .ucoz.com, because your site somewhat counts as a part of ucoz.com instead of as your own site.
I am not completely certain how adsense works, but I guess having a subdomain interferes with the plan.

All you can do is get more content on your site, and buy and attach a domain to your site.

I know this question doesn't pertain to uCoz, but will .co.nr or .tk work?
Thanks for the answer Acid!

Doomcaster, probably Google have changed their policy recently. AdSense used to work on uCoz domains, and still works on the websites that applied earlier.

.co.nr or .tk

I'm not sure whether it will work or not, you'll have to try.

Also note that with Google AdSense much depends on website content, so even a paid .com domain doesn't guarantee a website will be accepted.

I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.
