Hi, I am trying to make my friend an administrator through the group section of the website. But it tells me to go to control panel, and I have and all it shows are permissions and properties that I can give to other users who are admin, it does not say to type a person's name to make them admin or anything like that. I also want to know what the diffrence is between user ranks, and user groups. I hope you can help me with my situation, and I thank you if you do.

I figured it out how to make my friend administrator too, nevermind. Although I still want to know what the difference is between user ranks and user groups still.

Ranks are just titles, they don't influence any permissions.
