Control Panel > Web Polls > New poll

I am having trouble putting the poll on the front page of my site. Every time I make a poll, it gives me a code, but I don't know where to paste it. I think I'm doing something wrong because as far as I know of, I don't think you need the code to put it in the front page.

Help please!?!
