If the domain is attached by method 3, it took no time to get a new SSL !
https://thassos.one/

However on the other site account when i tried to log in CP i got this initially:
https://thassosvilabea.com/

The entered uID password is blocked for security considerations. You must set another one in your Webtop.

Moreover i saw that the DNS on namescheap was set on ucoz servers so i moved it for the second site to NamescheapBasicDNS so i could edit the text record there instantly so i won't have to wait 4 hours.

On the second domain i can't find the txt records for the second Verify _acme-challenge.www.thassosvilabea.com

Quote
The domain has an incorrect set of name servers: dns1.registrar-servers.com, dns2.registrar-servers.com
The following list of name servers must be applied: ns1.ucoz.net, ns2.ucoz.net, ns3.ucoz.net

I detached https://thassosvilabea.com/
I changed DNS in namescheap to NamescheapBasicDNS.
I made two A records :

A Record @ 213.174.157.151
A Record www 213.174.157.151

I can't attach back thassosvilabea.com to thassosvilabea.ucoz.com

Specified domain name gives an incorrect IP address.

HELP !

What happened is this.

https://thassos.one was bought directly on namescheap attached it to uCoz without transfering it to uCoz servers.

The free SSL Let's encrypt can be made instantly on it. No need to wait 4 hours.

Now the problem is this.

https://thassosvilabea.com/ was a gift from uCoz, after 1st year i moved it to namescheap and extended it with +9 years.
I changed DNS in namescheap to NamescheapBasicDNS.

Can't use the free SSL instantly on it like on https://thassos.one

Why ?

Urs, looks like an issue on Namecheap's side. You sure it wasnt just a limited time offer? if you're sure abt that, try contacting them instead.

Cyberdasm, that post is literally almost 2 years old now. That, and you could have checked the site (which does indeed have ssl).

So, I'm unable to get this to work. The SSL says invalid, and says it's issued to ucoz.net, rather than my website https://i.imgur.com/mMpIgx1.png and now I'm getting this error in the control panel, https://i.imgur.com/b7YWTjq.png

I have my domain attached using Method 2 (I believe), where the domain was bought on NameCheap and transferred to uCoz's servers. Would I have to edit the DNS records on NameCheap instead of uCoz?

Hello,

Thank you for this helpful thread.

This is my second time installing an SSL certificate. The first time went flawlessly thanks to google and help from this very thread. The second time I keep getting a "common name error/mismatch".

After googling for awhile with out any progress I'm reaching out to you guys the ones who taught me how to do this in the first place.

Site name : MotaConsult.com

Hello, can you specify the following:

1) You have already installed certificate and its still shows your website as "not secure connection", or
2) The error from your screenshot appears, when you try to apply SSL certifiacte ?

Jambatti,

Thanks for the quick response.

The SSL certificate has already been applied.

I'm now having an issue with a pop-up add on my webpage motaconsult.com and Id like to know how to remove this please.

It links to scam pages that I do not want to support!

darksim_009, first, please clarify if the pop up you're referring to is on motaconsult.com or not. On this site there is no current subscription so, as it's mentioned in our price list, ads are displayed on the free sites. The only purchase made on motaconsult.com was the domain.
If you're referring to a different site, please provide its URL.
Also, a screenshot of that scam ad is more than welcomed and also provide the url of the page to which it redirects, to make sure we do refer to the same thing.
You can either send the info here or via the ticket you've already opened on the issue. Thank you!

Good things come to those who wait!
