On designs # 1321 1322 1323 (all are similar) what is the maximum width a picture can have in the content area without being resized or pushing the boundaries ?

I tried 640 x 480 but probably it could go even more.
How much exactly is the maximum width, can't din find it in the CSS.

Thank you.

Urs, it's responsive design, you can put any image size you want, this will not push the borders or mess your website as it will always be re-sized to fit your monitor .

I agree, but before you get the mobile view, there is still space that is not used. I want to use the full space so i need to know the maximum width.

On 1080p or 1440p monitors when the site is not constrained in any way.

Let me help others who may want to know this information. I experimented and found the following values.

For screen resolution bigger or equal to 1366 x 768, max photo width is 795 px. Anything more is wasted.
For small resolutions under 1024 x 768 in certain cases max photo width is 862 px. Anything more is wasted.

To keep file sizes reasonable 795 px is better than 862 px (which may only help in some situations).
