Hi to everyone! I want to add a new global block (like "Site friends") that will appear to any of my pages. I created one through Main » Customize Design, I put the html code (it's a flag counter) and I saved it. In the visual html editor I see it ok, but I can't make it appear in my site... I probably do something wrong, maybe I need to add a class or something in the code to activate it, I don't know... Any help would be most appreciated!!!
thanx in advance smile

1. add global block
2. fill it with content.
3. add the code $GLOBAL_ANYWORD$ to the templates you want that block to be shown in.

don't forget about the function "Quick substitution of template parts" and try to examine the function "Templates builder" in Design tab of control panel.

I couldn't do it too, but I had another idea that worked, at least for me! I put the code I needed, below "Site Menu" (I used both raw html + visual html editor) and so it now appears in all of my pages, without having messing up with all of my templates! I can't know if this will work for you too adi, but what do you want the advertisements anyway??? UcoZ provides us with a great FREE website management system, If you want to make money from your site I suggest you use a paid host happy

You probably was using Visual Editor and it added lot of junk in template like moz bla bla. Remove some of them and then add the global block.

Plus don't use the visual editor for templates editing - it mess them up.

Take a deap breath..

Every time i use html editor directly from the site, the text on that page is going crazy. i mean, instead of "uefa champions league" i see something like " [font...][size...] uefa champions league blah blah blah. anyway, it's funny. PS : I use mozilla firefox

this probably happens cause you need to "close" the code you added. If you use [size=3...] for example, you must end your phrase with [/size...], without the ... of course! It's good to have some html knowledge if you want to use raw html, else try the visual (WYSIWYG) html editor, or an external one like Dreamweaver or Frontpage...
