Can't visit someone's website |
Ok I know for sure that my friend's website is still up because everyone else can access it. I'm the only one having trouble visiting the website. I'm using Chrome and it tells me that the website does not exist (when I know 100% it does). The link to it is http://ybok-outfit.ucoz.org/
Why can't I access it? And just to be clear, I'm not the admin of the website. I'm just a user registered there. edit: heres what the error says The webpage at http://ybok-outfit.ucoz.org/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. Error 103 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_ABORTED): Unknown error. Post edited by Sahana - Sunday, 2013-04-14, 3:51 AM

i blocked out some stuff in red. i dont know if it was okay to do that but i thought it showed my IP or something (im an idiot with computer stuff. I'm assuming it was showing my IP which is something you dont do right?) Added (2013-04-15, 5:01 PM) |
Could it be that you are using Comcast service provider Or iiNet ? . It appears that Comcast and Iinet server blocks websites on server 57 and server 26.
Quote Comcast customers are currently unable to access sites on Server 26. An official request has been sent to the provider and the issue is to be resolved at the earliest possible date. In the meantime users can access sites through the use of proxy services/VPN. [07/04] Quote iiNet customers are currently unable to access sites on Server 57. Sahana, There are free proxy services such as http://www.hidemyass.com/ and http://www.proxy-service.de/ . You can surf through the internet using these services anonymously and securely.

Sahana, another alternative is the ToR browser. I personally recommend this and use it myself if I encounter access issues. If you have any further queries please post here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/31-16388-1

Just for future reference - such tracing results are of no use If you don't want to show your IP, you can send the results via PM to me or Paradox. Server 26 is currently being blocked by your ISP. We have sent several requests to them but with no result yet. I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.
