from there i then click on 'visual html editor' which brings up another box (looks like the website as it should) and it says in the middle $content$.

now if i write over the top of that, i seem to lose all my pages and everypage is the same as the front page BUT if i type in text under that $content$, then what ever i type appears on every page of the website, underneath what supposed to be on there.

ive been at this since last night but cant get my head around it.

can you tell me if im in the right area by going into the editor?? but instead of clicking on the visual editor, do you sugest i have a mess about with the html instead???

also would it be better if i did a copy/paste into dreamweaver then alter from there before putting it back on??

need more advice on where to alter it!

oh, one more thing... where are the manals! (im a male, manuals dont usually come into the equasion!)
