First image explains everything:

And you can't create 'Hot' thread. It will get status 'Hot' after
reaching post limit you selected for 'Hot' thread in m-settings.

Vinothdazzlin is right, it is not possible.

Ok Sunny I can't ... but u say in ur topic for moderator options at the beggining, If I want announcement to be on top ... I should place the necessary text .... Where can I find the table for it and change it ??

if I want different announcements for every section of the forum ... how do I do that ???

Or how can I make a sticky thread always be on top of others ???

Thank u again in advanced !!

If you select stick thread, by default it will always be on top of the forum threads.

djwarez, there is no such feature. The only way is to update its date.

I have stickies added everyday - I cannot do that everyday ....

Is there another way I could have my stickies seperated and then a table in every section of the forum indicating (showing) only the new threads and the below a table having all the others (the old ones) ??

Or how can I make every time a thread being edit again showing up by the date it has been updated and not by the date it has been posted fist time ??

Thank u so much for ur trouble,

I really appreciate the time spending solving my problem, cos I wanna Solve it !!

Again, thank u in advanced ....

djwarez, unfortunately it is not possible, at least be means of standard features. What about creating a separate board for announcements?
