We have the same problem and it appears hat our site has been blocked because of http://ucoz.com
Here is the answer from Twitter: Hello, This URL has been blocked by Twitter because its content was previously flagged, and/or encouraged violating, our Terms of Service (http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=http://ucoz.com). Here are the Twitter Rules: https://support.twitter.com/articles/18311 This page has more information about our policies surrounding affiliate advertising: https://support.twitter.com/articles/76915 Please contact your web host provider for further assistance. LIBertea, yes, Twitter is blocking ucoz.com and we haven't been able to resolve the issue with them yet. They keep referring to Google Safe Browsing, but they ignore the following part:
Moreover, if you check a number of other popular websites, even google.com, you will see the same results: http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=http://google.com But apparently Twitter is not blocking Google. I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.

You can bypass the issue by attaching a custom domain. Twitter is only blocking ucoz.com and several other default domains. If one person report the issue it wont make any difference to their system...if many of uCoz users submit same issue, than it will be recognized by them most likely... That's right, the more complaints they receive, the higher the chances are to resolve the issue asap. I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.

Honestly, it's quite annoying that we have to resolve using third party url Shrinkers to lower their detection. And they will still try to block us.
|
Daffa_Mage, you can attach a custom domain to your website to bypass the issue. In this case as long as your website doesn't violate any Twitter rules, you will be able to post direct links even if the ucoz domain is blocked.

Sunny, I see.
Does twitter block all ucoz domains? (.net, .ru, and so on) |
That's too bad
Anyway, thanks Paradox! |
It is because UCOZ.NET has been implicated in a malware network please read the following report from Google
https://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=ucoz.net So any user page associated with UCOZ.NET servers UCOZ.COM or any other domaing parked at ucoz will be blocked until at least 90 days remember that twitter facebook and many other social networks uses Google Safe Browsing for links so if there is any site or domain holder or server reported by Google Safe Browsing you won't be able to put your link on any post or tweet. At least that's the reason that Tweeter Support Assistant told me. Added (2014-05-10, 1:33 PM) |
No, not all of them, only some - ucoz.org, ucoz.net, ucoz.co.uk, ucoz.com.br. It looks like ucoz.com has been unblocked. The domain itself is safe. But some of users who create their websites using this domain may have malware on their websites. Of course it is not allowed by the ToS and we delete/block such websites as soon as they are reported/found. I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.
