The ability to use PHP will be very helpful, websites will be able to function more independently and more advanced.

shadowslash, hmm well because you are so polite i will clear out what i ment with that , like the uCoz homepage , its nearly finished but it exceeded his final date that thy provided because of the holidays , i don't mean that thy are not on time with things that thy launch , i just ment that there could be anything that will move the release date up again

Unfortunately delays are always imminent, for example with my clients - I sometimes come across another issue with new projects (websites), therefore the time of my expected completion date is delayed. In this case the uCoz developers may find that there is a problem with the new feature, and because of this they will have to fix it before it is launched on the expected release date. In most cases the launch will be delayed.

Sometimes release dates are set a long way away so that if there are any problems they can be fixed on time. However sometimes, for example the E-Shop module - beta testing stages are created first.

Not sure... Umm... Maybe you can tell me if the new PHP implementation for uCoz will also support MySQL? And also, how does one become eligible to have access to the PHP thing? Of course it shouldn't be readily available to new users who just signed up. There should be some sort of basis as to how it is granted to a user...

EDIT:
And also my pet (on my signature) is almost about to hatch so I encourage users to click it.. smile

shadowslash, I'm sure it will support MySQL but I'll have to get in touch with one the developers and ask. Also does it matter if the same user clicks the link (for your pet) if they have done before?

Anybody is free to visit the link at any time anywhere and at any amount of times they wish but their clicks will only be counted oonce per day... E.g., If you visited 4 times today, it will only count as 1.. The next time your visit will be logged is the next day...

Umm it's somewhat a game... The thing is, you get "creatures" as pets and they start from being an egg. Then you put them in your signature then it's EXP or growth depends on how many people click on your signature pet. I think they differentiate users from one another by basing it on the user's IP addresses. After a certain amount of clicks have been achieved (like my egg before), it will evolve (like my pet now). It's not really a game.. It's more of just being fun to monitor how your pet grows based on the amount of clicks it gets... smile
