shadowslash, yes it is possible to use 7-zip on a Mac. I would prefer not to, but I can.

Oh okay. BTW, I just finished adding the Object Properties panel to WebApp Go. smile Also the HTML code it generates is now obfuscated. Check it out!

Download for Windows
Download for Mac OS X

I'll PM you the password. smile

And yes, because you're such a great person, I compressed it using 7-zip biggrin

shadowslash, I haven't problems downloading a proper 7zip version for Mac OS X. There are a few available sources, but neither are working. Is there anyway you can compile them differently?
Kind regards,
Elliott.

I like the properties panel update, I've made a screenshot so you can see what it looks like on Mac OS X.
The problems I have found are that the 'Checkbox' doesn't work, 'Text Area' and 'Radio Button'. By this I mean when you press the button, they don't display.

I absolutely appreciate the screenshot! smile Here's the latest updated one..

Changes since the last version:

  • Before, if you drag the object way past the left or top border, the object goes through. On this new release, it has a limit that snaps the items to the left or top so that the object doesn't go beyond the border. (This is one of my favorite features. smile )
  • You can now set the object properties via the Object Properties panel. Simply double click on the property value and type the corresponding replacement. (E.g., change the label of the button, change the text of the TextArea, position the objects, etc)
  • There is now a short transition when opening the web apps. People will see a short splash information about how the web application was made with WebApp Go.
  • There is now a script editor for the onMouseDown and onMouseUp events. This is still a rough draft and please use apostrophe ( ' ) instead of double quotes ( " ). So far this can only do so much as alert('my message');. I plan to implement a custom coding convention for WebApp Go which should hopefully let non-web developers an advantage with easy-to-learn coding conventions.
  • The TextArea and Checkbox now creates each respective object on the Project Canvas.
  • There are still some issues with the Checkbox object. Whem you edit the label of the Checkbox on the Object Properties, the display preview doesn't update but if you compile the web app, the label you entered will be shown. Only the preview doesn't work. Also setting the Selected property for the Checkbox currently doesn't affect anything.
  • One of my beta-testers who's in a Mac complains how there's no way to delete the Objects because his keyboard doesn't have a Delete button so I also added the functionality to delete the selected object via Backspace key as well. wink
  • Set the title of your web application via Project > Project Title.
  • Yes. There is now a DMG release for Mac OS X.

An open download is now available on SourceForge for WebApp Go. From Google Code, I switched to SourceForge since it offers more of what I need. smile

shadowslash, great improvements smile The DMG file works great too. The only problems I've found:
  • Radio Button doesn't work
  • When you press the 'Backspace' or 'Delete' key when editing properties, the element (button, text area) is removed instead of the property text

Kind regards,
Elliott.

Radio Button doesn't work

Yep, I didn't include that yet since it functions mostly like a Checkbox, I figured I should iron out the kinks with the existing objects first so that when I implement more objects, it wouldn't be as hard as hell...

Yep, I forgot to consider the fact about editing object information. I'll fix that in the next one. smile

shadowslash, great. Let me know when the update is available.

There, on revision 11, I fixed the issue regarding objects being deleted on backspace or delete while editing the object properties. It should work okay now. smile

I just fixed that minor detail that you noted then uploaded rev-11.

Download for Windows
Download for Mac OS X

The next thing I'll be working on is the scripting library and the issue with the checkbox object. Hopefully, if I get the Checkbox object properties to work properly, I can finally implement the Radiobutton object as well as other objects like labels, images, etc.
