PemimpinSatria, the problem occurred cause you had a separate template for the home page. Now it won't influence the work of Builder. And yes, you can delete the widget, it was added by techs as a test.

So, now can I put new front page(new website)?

What I just did is put my front page, change my site menu(delete the Home and arrange it) and put some clock widget... sigh...I'm tired of THIS!!! PLEASE FIX IT!!! OR Does the front page make the problems? and what does the ""Apply personal template to the page"" do? One more thing, how to restore back site menu? I ask because my previous site which is used/fix by the techs has missing site menu. Hope you understand. |
PemimpinSatria, so, as far as I understand you created a new website and have the same problem on it? I'll ask techs to check. Could you please give a detailed description of your steps one by one?

Quote and what does the ""Apply personal template to the page"" do? By default all pages created via Page Editor have the same template - Site Pages. But if you mark this option it creates a separate template for the page where you mark it.

1. I went to unet.com log in
2. I create a website different templates this time #955) 3. In this website, I put front page just as Armaros tutorials 4. I delete this 'Home' via control panel>general>main page>site menu builder 5. I arranged this 'new page' to the first one of the site menu 6. I get this clock widget from other sites(copy the script embedded code) 7. I enabled builder 8. Add block 9. Click on the small 'gear'(setting) image 10. Hit html tab 11. Pasted the embedded code(clock widget) 12. Save change(builder) 13. Enabled the builder tool again 14. Problem occur Added (2010-02-02, 5:50 Am) Here how I do on the my previous website as my experiment I didn't change the site menu Now what I do, I just change new template and save it. After that I didn't do anything to my site except using the control panel to edit But please, at least fix this problems |
PemimpinSatria, well, the problem occurs because you mark "Apply personal template to the page" according to the tutorial. And since the main page has a separate design in this case, it looks for the system as if 2 different designs are used at a time, and therefore Builder does not work.
So, at the moment I suggest that you do not use the tutorial. I will ask Dartz to review the tutorial to see whether it possible to make intro in another way. I'm not active on the forum anymore. Please contact other forum staff.
