uCoz Community uCoz Modules Site Users Signatures (picture, size etc.) |
Signatures |
This seems to be a problem I am a member of 2 ucoz forums and on one I can edit my profile but on the other I can't.
Also I have been made an Administrator but I cannot help other members by editing thier profile for them Any help or advice would be appreciated |
micra-man, it's all about settings. If the site owner
disabled signature displaying then it wont display. If the site owner disabled ability of editing user profiles, then you wont be able to. We can't do anything here. [... With uCoz since December 2 2007 ...]

Is there certain code that a member on the site can click and it will automatically go to their edit profile and add a signature for them. and then all they have to do is enter the security code and click save? almost like an action on photoshop, where it can crop the picture for the user.
Would the URL look something like this:? (link to edit profile) +(code for adding (signature) to the signature box) |
Quote (Zangman) and add a signature for them Zangman, we do not provide support with custom coding here. You can request custom scripting using this post here though: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/25-13186-1 Quote (Zangman) on the site can click and it will automatically go to their edit profile and Zangman, this can be achieved through using the following URL with a HTML link. Below is a rough example. Code <a href="http://yoursite.ucoz.com/index/11">Edit My Profile</a> Quote (Zangman) where it can crop the picture for the user. Zangman, this last request can be achieved through using a HTML image tag and having the link set to $_AVATAR_URL$. This will only resize the image though. Zangman, I am not sure I understand you. You can get to profile page by adding index/8to the end of your website. And then you can edit it and add signature.
What exactly do you want to be automatic? And whom do you want this feature to work for ? Be more specific and post your messages in the proper thread. |
Am i right that signatures are only used in the forum module? i.e. they are not used in comments on site news , ad board etc???

Лютый_хомяк, if you are speaking specifically to these forums yes you may. However, the banner must advertise your own site and must not be over 60px high.

Okay. Look at my sig now. It is 53 px height and it`s linked to my own ucoz site.
But Sunny deleted it with the explanation: Code No third-party ads in signatures are allowed. Read the forum rules and http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/7-566-1 ![]() Has she read this rules? Attachments:
