Publisher to Home page?

How would I get the recent published news to the home page? I can't seem to get it to work.

How can I have the informers display the full text of the published content?

Magicskid, by default - no. If you want to use the Publisher as the home page, go to Control Panel -> Settings -> Common settings -> When opening the main page, redirect to, and select Publisher on the drop-down list.
