Is there any such thing as own image hosting, where as you upload a picture on the site so you can post them in the forums.

You could use the Photo Module - you could easily make your own image hosting using the module. For example, place the code $PHOTO_URL$ on the appropriate page in your Photo Module. That code gives the direct link to the picture-file. Post that link on the forums.
