uCoz Community For Webmasters Site Promotion <!DOCTYPE> tag |
<!DOCTYPE> tag |
Hi guys. New to uCoz and web design and writing code... as of yesterday
I told my friend I could make her a website for free and I am determined! Thanks to uCoz and cc.cu this is possible. Anyway, I see someone else was in the same position as me wondering how to figure out if their template was written in html or xhtml. According to Vlad's suggestion above, that most ucoz templates use xhtml, I'll start with that tag and hope it results in smooth surfing across all the browsers. If anyone wants to know a little about the difference between html and xhtml, as I did earlier, I found the explanation on this page helpful: |
PauMuro, uCoz sites are written in HTML. We use elements of XHTML for system components however the user-editing side of the system is written best using HTML.
