Message # 1 | 5:44 PM
Can anybody tell me how to apply those name servers?

Thank you

Message I got:

The domain fortificase.com has been parked but not yet attached to the account

The domain has an incorrect set of name servers: dns1.50webs.com, dns2.50webs.com

Once you have bought a domain or have made any changes to its settings you need to wait 12 hours.

The following list of name servers must be applied: ns1.ucoz.net, ns2.ucoz.net

Fred2625, you can edit name servers in the domain's control panel (not the uCoz one). For futher instructions, please check out the documentation/FAQ (if any) of the domain name provider. If there is not any documentation/FAQ, try to contact the technical support of the domain provider.

Now that I have applied your servers ns1.ucoz.net, ns2.ucoz.net in my original domain host, the emails to my corresponding email addresses do not reach me anymore!

spireluz.com
fortificase.com

Fred2625, okay, so your email server will require you to setup the MX records in the domain control panel, however, before we can look at doing that what method have you used to attach your domain to your uCoz website?

Could you also identify for us the MX/email records that you are instructed to apply by your email server? You'll generally find these in the help section of most hosts. smile

Hello,

These are the settings for the servers and email boxes with my host:

they are both similar for spireluz.com and fortificase.com

Thanks

Please note, this has become urgent. I am not getting my email

I need an aswer to this, PLEASE, I am not getting emails

My host told me this:

Please note that the domains for the emails don't have MX records and as such the emails aren't managed by us:
host fortificase.com
fortificase.com has address 213.174.157.140
host spireluz.com
spireluz.com has address 213.174.157.140

you will need to add our MX records from your DNS manager if you wish for the emails to work with us .

My host told me this too:

The domains in question aren't using your name servers:
Domain Name: SPIRELUZ.COM
Registrar: LIQUIDNET LTD.
Sponsoring Registrar IANA ID: 1472
Whois Server: whois.liquidnetlimited.com
Referral URL: http://www.liquidnetlimited.com
Name Server: NS1.UCOZ.NET
Name Server: NS2.UCOZ.NET

you will need to contact UCOZ.NET about where you can edit your domain's DNS records .

The needed MX record that must be added is :
mail.50webs.com

Fred2625, you can add the necessary MX records in the Control Panel of your uCoz websites: Control Panel -> Domain attachment -> Edit domain records in expert mode.

I wrote @ in the box before .spireluz. com but when I press save it just disappears. Why?

Fred2625, it can take up to 48 hours for domain records changes to be processed. Hopefully this won't take as long. From what I can see this appears to be correctly set up. smile Let us know on the progress.

Fred2625, ohh okay, I see what you're saying now. No, it shouldn't disappear at all.

Entering the @ symbol as the "Sub Domain" should be correct, so I'm not too sure what's going on. Hopefully Sunny will be able to shine some light on the subject. Hopefully she'll be online to reply soonish. smile

Fred2625, I'm sorry for the delay. If MX records are not saved after you have added them, please make sure that you inserted priority before the record, e.g.

10 and 20 are the priority here.

Thanks, it works with the 10 added before and don't forget to enter @ before the domain name in the box
