Thanks ucoz for.... ruining my work.... |
Till yesterday i was very content of ucoz services..but now i'm very very disappointed....
My work for the last 5-6 months...ruined... I was havind 385 entryes in the publisher module and i have decided to change the categories to sort al the entryes better... But surprise...a "smart" guy thought that is a good idea to change the URL of the entry when you cange the category...(because the url contains the category id...) After i have finished the change i saw that the traffic on my site is unusualy low....why????...i tell you...because the search engine cant find the old url anymore... So all my work -in forums, posts in other blogs...search engine- is gone... All of this for a stupid idea of a person (or a team) who created the software.... Don´t they know that the most important thing in this virtual world is the URL -which can't be changed!!!!!!! because if you change it dissapears!!!!!!!!! All my work.......for nothing I think that you shoud tke in consideration this and make some changes if not other stupid people (like me) can lose their work.... Excuse me...but you dont have any idea about what you are talking......
Now i have to wait again to be indexed...is stupid...why does it have to be like this when i already was indexed... What do i have to do whit all the links from the forums,blogs..etc.. I dont want to insult you but this was the worst answer that you coud give me.... Why do it have to work like this?????? is not normal to afect the URL Please ask the techniks to change this...because is stupid and hurts our work!!!!!! Now i have dicovered that if you change the adding date in the news module ,it afects the url too...it is not normal!!!! |
First, mind your language if you want to receive support. We wont stand
your mood swings because it's not our problem if you lack basic logic of understanding about indexing and url changing. Second, explain your problem in details. You are jumping from one point As for forum and blog, if you decided to move entries to another category If you find it very hard to explain your problem in English which could be [... I was having 385 entries in the PUBLISHER module and i have moved them manualy.
In this moment my site is full of content, but the SEO is like 6 months before "0" With "forum and blogs post" i mean post in other forums and blogs that promotes my site-my entries.... All my work to promote those entries is gone....because the URLs of the entries does not exist anymore... What shoud i understand about indexing and url changing??? The url can not be changed!!! Once you create a page gets a url. After that you can change everything you want in that page (to make it better) but the url...if you do this the page disapears! So what is to understand???? For example: The first URL looks Like this http://www.xxxxx.com/publ/5-1-0-347 If you change the category http://www.xxxxx.com/publ/8-1-0-347 where 5 and 8 are the category id's.This is not a little change...this means that the old page is deleted and a new page it has been created. If i have to change 3 times at week the category than 3 times at week i shoud wait to be reindexed by boogle....forgive me but this is stupid! I'm realy sorry for my language...i did not want to insult anybody, but i am very angry about this and i can not accept those "answers"... About the Spanish forum...sorry but is a little difficult to get help there...takes a long time and the guys don't have enough experience...all the time for easy and stupid questions their answer is "i have to ask the technics about this"...For me it woud be more helpfull a Romanian forum....but one with people that can help not just talk to talk .... |
Thanks for your help...the answer was exactly how i expected...poor and wrong...
That's why your personal sites have no visitors or just a few...because you know only the design part of a website and nothing more... Post edited by edyvlad - Saturday, 2010-04-10, 7:54 PM
