Hi everyone.. I am planning to create a website that offers designing services.. Including customized uCoz templates and modern logos... However i was confused about the pricing.. Let's assume that you need a well designed template for your uCoz website.. and let's assume you contact me for a unique and fresh template,,, now my question is: How much are you willing to pay for a beautiful uCoz template? and keep in mind that i guarantee my work (no satisfaction= money back)
Blow, is a "sample" list of templates (from http://www.websitetemplates.bz/ ) that i can easily re-design and make them uCoz compatible.. Please tell me how much you think each one should be worth... give me prices (ex. 40$ for template 1.. $50 for template 2.. etc.).. Keep in mind that headers will be designed depending on costumers' logo and site content (i'm a professional Photoshop user, therefore I have no difficulties with making the designs unique)
Template 1
Template 2
Template 3
Template 4
Template 5
Template 6
Template 7
Template 8

And please take a look at some sample logos from http://inspiredology.com/ ... I also can easily design logos like these.. tell me how much you think each should be worth..
Logo 1
Logo 2
Logo 3
Logo 4

I will really appreciate if you come up with realistic and reasonable prices.. Most of the website templates that I provided are listed as $45 in the original website.. and i also have to redesign the whole structure of the template to make it uCoz compatible, so that will take some time and effort...
And my last question: Is anyone interested in the idea of someone else making them unique and modern templates for money??
If I ever make this website, I'll give 10% off to the people who reply to this post with a reasonable price and mature comment.. thank you very much for your time.. respect to all of you bye

Just wondering: is it actually legal to take templates from the provided site and re-design them & then sell them?

00_Eagle_00, further to Pilot's post. This is actually an illegal act. It is in fact legal to take free templates and give them away free - but to take free ones, make small adjustments and then sell them is actually against the law. But if you could actually make a template completely (including development and design) from scratch that looks like the template you will get away with it because this is not stealing, only copying a design - as long as you do not take any scripts and images...etc

Also about the logo's. Similar to above, you can get away with making a logo from scratch that looks like another one - as long as you can provide proof that you made it yourself.

Most of those logo's you could sell for around $50 as long as you only sell the ones you actually made and can provide and keep evidence. If you do remake these logo's I recommend making the logo in lots of different sizes. For example:

Favicon (format: .ico / resolutions: 72) - 16px - 16px
Small Logo (format: .png / resolutions: 72) - from 50px to 250px
Average Logo (format: .png / resolutions: 72) - around 150px - 500px
Big Logo (format: .png / resolutions: 72) - around 500px - 1000px
A4 Logo (read up on the requirements for printing graphics A4 - this is because of blur problems may occur)

And so on... But I definitely recommend A4, this is the size I set all my logos to.

00_Eagle_00,

Id be interested in a custom ucoz design although id have to see my moneys worth as I am quite competent myself at website design although lack the time and interest to do it myself.

For a decent ucoz design I would pay around 50 bucks assuming that comes with a logo and lots of nifty modifications. I like the contrast of black and red and my site is going to be a gaming portal where we host servers and share files etc.

If you have any ideas or are interested, just send me an email at erniewilleatyou@gmail.com

Regards,

Liam
