Unable to Edit own threads/messages

For my normal user group, I set them to be able to edit their own threads/messages. However, some of my users are unable to edit their own posts after a certain period of time. For example, they can edit their more recent posts, but some of their own older posts they cannot edit.

Is it because their IP changes or the ability to edit own threads/messages is time dependent?

Number of days during which users can edit and remove their threads:
Number of days during which users can edit and remove their posts:

Ah thanks for the find. Somehow I overlooked those options.

Would putting 0 for both those options mean that users can edit their posts forever?
