Renaming topic

Having a small problem with my forum.. If I rename the title of a topic it does not seem to get updated on the main page.. It stays as the original title and I end up having to delete the topic and open a new one.. Any ideas?

Wolfman, Did you mean informer on your site main page ? ( Then look here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/37-457-1 )

Thank you for the reply.. No I was referring to the forum itself.. If I create a new topic then go edit the title of that topic the new name does not show up on the main page of the forum.. It uses the old name..

I attached two images one of the main page which shows the original title of the thread even though I renamed it and the other of the actual thread and you can see the title has been changed..

Wolfman, thread names in the Updates column are cached. They are changed after someone adds a new post to that thread. A thread name on the list of threads within the forum section is changed immediately.

Thank you for the explanation.. Weird though as I would figure if you rename a title of a thread it would just show the new name in the main page of the forum.. Still though thanks for the explanation as it helps me understand why it is not changing.. Dont know if you close threads when the answer is given but I have the answer now.. Thanks again..
