I want users to register before they can upload anything to my storage(naturally) So I want to have a link that says Upload Your Own! if the user is registered it will transfer him/her to the upload page.

However, if the persons is not registered, it will just be similar to null or "#" in that it will just reload instead of directing the user to the right spot(register/login)

Can someone please throw something together for me so I can understand how it works?

I would like to take away the "Please register first." text and have it be dynamic, as in only be displayed if the user is not logged in or registered.
