Create your own video for uCoz |
Dear staff.
Today I came up with an idea for the users of uCoz. Not only will this be good for our users, but also good for uCoz in many ways. The title basically gives it away. This will give uCoz an advantage because this means several videos may be uploaded to YouTube (or other video hosting sites), which will advertise the service. I think we should make an announcement (which I would be glad to make) in the forum. This announcement will inform our users that any user of uCoz can create a custom made video on how to use uCoz or build a uCoz website. Also the winning video will be used on the homepage of uCoz.com. It will be good to see what our users can come up with, don't you think? I think we should make some simple requirements/info for the videos too. For example, each video must...
Of course the user can display their credits at the end. And if there are either no videos created, or none of them are suitable for uCoz.com - we can either not use a video or we can just create our own. I will try and make one my self too. All additional suggestions are welcome. Kind regards,

Animorph, thank you for your reply. I do agree with what your saying, we could however offer to display the best video creator's website on the homepage along with the video. I think I will try and make one my self anyway. But once the new uCoz.com has been released.

Animorph, it is for the users that visit uCoz.com for the first time, users that have never used this service. Many services offer a short and simple video on the homepage to show users why you should use the service and how to quickly start. Unfortunately uCoz doesn't really show a user how to start - only a button/linkto get started. I think it will be very useful to have a video on the homepage.
