Not getting my notification e-mails |
Hi all, after some time now, I've noticed that I've stopped getting e-mail notifications if people reply to my thread here. The option on my profile page is set so that I receive notifications if ever somebody replies to a thread that I posted in. Yes, that option is still checked but for some odd reason I can't receive any notifications. Is this a server-sided error? If so, has it been taken to consideration already? If yes, when is the estimated time of fixing it?

shadowslash, I have the same problem ... I just told to animorph that I change my mail from gmail to yahoo, and I'm receiving mails about comments on my mail, but about new users, still nothing... whatever, I think it's a problem with uCoz servers.

Quote (Animorph) i never got an e-mail if someone answers my threads Well that can't be, I have a dedicated folder in my e-mail just for uCoz-related emails. It usually always has content every week either from user-replies or from users registering on my website. For some odd reason it stopped at around mid-December 2010 so I guess it is indeed a uCoz server issue as Remember stated. shadowslash, first of all check the contents of the Spam folder, and if the message is not there contact the support service of your e-mail provider. You are the one who is their customer and you can influence the quality of their work and the correctness of mail delivery.
Second of all change the e-mail address to a different one (but not Yahoo) and check it out this way. As far as I am aware there are no problems at our end. |

As soon as you started posting in the forums again, I started receiving ALL the emails that I failed to receive. I got like around 100 emails from different dates entering my inbox every few minutes. I think the SendMail application might have been clogged up which is why I only got them. "Friends don't let friends use Internet Explorer 6." - Microsoft || Join the cause. Help your friends.
