Display catagories on File Catalog main page

how do i change the file manager settings to categories only then the content. Instead of having pages of downloads?/////

in file manager there's no such option , i assume you mean file catalog ?

xxxCH34Txxx, if you are talking about File Catalog please ask questions concerning that module in the following board, http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/10
If however you mean the File Manager, you can categories your files by making new folders.

That link doesn't work. But i have separate categories, but when you view file catalog they are not in categories just as you upload them. SO how do you change to were you only see the categories.? and then after you choose a category you can see the separate files

Got to Control Panel (CP) -> Customize Design -> File Catalog -> File catalog main page
You can edit the page there. Use the following tag to display the categories:
