I was just wondering if uploading offsite templates are allowed ?

Say you found a nice template set off another website
would one beable to upload the entire template set to ucoz ?

if this can not be done what would be the next best thing close to it ?

Because what I see happening around ucoz is most of the sites out there are wanting there own template that is not a ucoz template
do some readsing and website searching you'll see what i'm talking about

But yeah could one upload a full template zip file

Pancake, yes custom templates are aloud. Although I don't recommend stealing source codes from other sites, as it is illegal. Best is to find free down-loadable templates on the internet.

Pancake, you can't upload a template as a zip file. You must insert the codes manually, but you can create your own template. On the Admin Bar in Control Panel, go to 'Design' -> 'Template Builder'.

Pancake, first, you can customize the default design. More information about this is here http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/5-422-1
second, you can create a design yourself and install it on your website. More information about this is here http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/36-9267-1
third, you can find a website with free templates for uCoz (like ucoztemplates.com)
