Maximum number of characters in results description

At Site Search the "Maximum number of characters in results description" dont changed !
Remains "50".
Why ?

zinobios, well if the that is the maximum of characters then you are not able to change it as far as i know , i will check this tomorrow holiday

I want to disapear description in search results.
I want to show only the titles.

it can be changed in CP->Site search->Module settings->"Maximum number of characters in results description"->the maximum number is 999

You need to edit the template of the module in CP->Design->Design management->Site search->Appearance of entries. Delete
