The page selector on the main page, for news entries, doesn't work. I do have selected in CP the: "Page switchers are displayed" |
silviuq12, There's no such feature "$PAGE_SELECTOR$" in Site News Entries Template (as well as the Blog Module Template and the Photo Album Template). You can see codes that are applicable only in Site News Template below the template in the CP.
The page selector in the Site News Template will automatically appear in the Page of the Entries Archive after such certain number of entries are posted. I you set 5 Site New Entries in the Site News Module Settings and you already have 10 site news entries, the page selector or the pages will automatically appear in the Page of the Entries Archive (Just like the Blog Module). silviuq12, code '$LAST_NEWS$' is responsible for displaying the last news from the Site news module on the Main page of your website. As far as I can see you set the Site news module as your main page. Page selector will appear there automatically after the number of entries will exceed the one you set up in CP->Settings->Common settings->Number of entries per page in archive view:
