Is it possibility to allow users auto activation when registering,

I do not have this setting set (Forbid activity of the users with unconfirmed e-mails) but i have a person telling me that they had to activate the account in there email,
But still can not log in to the site,

Also how to i see inactivated members, i go to the user list and do not see that he was even registered.
Is there a way to see members that have registered but have not yet activated the accounts so i can just activate them my self?
Or can i have it to where it will just auto activate?

It seems like it should be, if i do not have this option on (Forbid activity of the users with unconfirmed e-mails:)
that they would just be auto activated? right?
So if thats the case then it might have been because that was not set when he tried the first time? dunno.. but i dont see that he is even resisted anywhere?

I apologize for asking, i have had many different boards for many years, so i am just not used to how everything is set up and works in the ACP with ucuz yet.. But do like the boards very much smile

fatgher48,if the person has never been registered with uCoz it means that when registering at your website he/she is being registered with uNet. The registration process is considered to be complete, if the person follows the confirmation link, sent to his/her e-mail. You have nothing to do with it. And you can't effect this process in any way. Only after the registration process is complete, the person can login to your website and only then you can see her/him in the list of users.
"Forbid activity of the users with unconfirmed e-mails:" feature means that such users can't post comments or entries at your website. But if the are registered uNet users, their e-mail is confirmed already. So this feature is for Local users more.

Ok thank you.
you can close this . i guess i will just have to register everyone my self.

The problem is a lot of members are saying it's being sent to there spam folder and they will not open or trust anything that is sent there.
I know stupid, they wont listen to me and keep saying no if it's something sent to there spam then it's corrupt and will not open it... lol

For real i have like 5 people telling me this... LMAO

fatgher48, I suggest you inform your users-to-be in such a way: "The message with the confirmation link could be regarded as spam, and as a result could get into Spam/Junk folder of the e-mail service you use or could be deleted.
Please check the contents of the Spam folder, and if the message is not there contact the support service of your e-mail provider. You are the one who is their customer and you can influence the quality of their work and the correctness of mail delivery.
If the message still was not found, we suggest that you use another e-mail service, register a new e-mail and use it to sign up once again."

it's not my emails that are reviving it it's the members, they do not want to open it because it's in there spam folder,
i will just register all members my self it's not a big deal and will solve the confusion of people thinking it's a corrupt /spam message being sent to their spam folder. smile

Thanx again
