12a3, what is the website where you are talking about , and what module are yopu using for the main page , actually changing 1 module its layout is quite easy , just modify the template and make a some changes in HTML and CSS to make it work for that page only ?

also be more specific about what you wan't you want to have a different template for you mainpage , but your forum will not change his design , explain me whaat template are you trying to install and did you try to use restore default template button for forum?

12a3, if you mean the http://softvn.mooo.com website, forum is your main page. That is why I am confused.
Remember, you can always apply a personal template to the main page in: CP->Page Editor » Entries management->Home page->Apply personal template to the page->Save

but theme in my forum http://ghost2s.net will not change

oh no, I'm sorry but it's not the problem

EX:

As I already said your main page is your Forum. That is why, first of all you need to change that in CP->Settings->Common settings->When opening the main page, redirect to:->Main page->Save.
Then apply a personal template to the main page in: CP->Page Editor » Entries management->Home page->Change->tag "Apply personal template to the page"->Save. After doing so you will be able to customize the template of the main page. This link will be useful http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/5-2540-5#22910

And you can not apply one default template to the main page and have another default template applied for the whole website.
