News entries to Blog? (Or news on seperate page?) |
I have used the Site News feauture for some time now for adding entry's, but now I want the news on a seperate page, and so this question if that is possible.
And if it is not possible having the news on a seperate page, then how (and is it possible to) move all news entries to the Blog? (Yes I did use search function, but strangely any time I use it I don't seem to find anything ) Post edited by Dimitrias - Thursday, 2011-03-31, 7:53 PM

Dimitrias,
Quote (Dimitrias) I have used the Site News feauture for some time now for adding entry's, but now I want the news on a seperate page, and so this question if that is possible Will you kindly rephrase your question for us to be able to help you and answer it. Please, specify what exactly are you interested in. What do you mean when you say "separate page"? If you want you may use Informers to display entries of any module in any place of your website you want. See more about them here |
What I mean is that I still want there to be some sort of news, but no longer on the home page.
So in fact I want the same as "Site News" on the Home page but on a separate page instead. And I know that Blog is also not on the front page, that is why I'm asking (if not possible to move the Site News to a separate page) if there is a way to get all news entries into Blog instead. If you don't want Site news module to be your Home page, change it in CP->Settings->Common settings->When opening the main page, redirect to:->set any module you want and Save. Quote (Dimitrias) if there is a way to get all news entries into Blog instead. There is no way you can do it automatically, only manually. |
