1. Suggestion concerns: Design of "The website is temporarily down" page
2. The main point of the suggestion: Add possibility to change the design of that page 3. Argument (why uCoz needs this feature): It would be great if such possibility existed, because you could shut down your site and add informers to the page showing for example latest news and some other widgets (like weather forecast), this is good when people are redesigning their website layout but don't want to lose their visitors because they can't enter their website. http://banovci.ucoz.net

For now, I would like to say that you can change the background and the inscription of this page by means of a script. Go to CP->Settings->Common settings->The website is temporarily down:. When you tag the checkbox, a new field will appear: "Description for the visitors why the website is temporary down:" Insert the path to the script file on your website (upload it via File Manager beforehand) in the box and Save |
Zangman, first of all, it is against Suggestion rules to have a discussion here. Second of all, you can do whatever you want to the website while it is temporary down. We were talking about the design of the page "The website is temporarily down" itself.
