| I need help with making a file hosting website |
Dear uCoz,
I though I'd ask, because I can't do it myself, would it be possible for me to make a file hosting website, where USERS can upload their own files, for an example .doc, .rar, .avi, etc. The example would be like the site of www.imageshack.us, but for not just images. Still the users should be able to get a link where the image is uploaded, if they upload an image, and get a chance to use the link in a forum somewhere. Other users can also downloaded other uploader's files, unless they mark it e.g. as "Private". If it's possible to make this kind of a file hosting website, tell me so and also how to do it. I hope you get the main idea. If you didn't, I'll try to clarify. I'm not English, and I had to write this in a hurry, so as I said if it's unclear, let me explain it once more. Thank you in advance! Rassu, uCoz does not have such feature like file hosting .

Keep in mind that number of entries are limited by the amount of available disk space. You get 400 Mb of the disk space at the beginning. Although, you can pay for your disk space to be increased. It is also possible, but to make links generate automatically you need to use a lot of custom coding. Unfortunately, we do not provide help with it. It is possible to download such files and to make restrictions for users groups by setting group permissions. I suggest you search forum first and ask specific questions one at a time.
