Hi,
I changed my site template very often and now I have big problem with news not showing (no text, only title) on main site SCREEN: http://i52.tinypic.com/f4kzgj.jpg
and other small bugs.
How can I fix it to remove every changes? I dont have template backup only data one. I dont want lose my site address or storage I got for over 2 years (~ 600mb). cry

Changing templates doesnt help here. My HTML and CSS knowledge is like 0,5/10 but im fine with understanding your tips.

Yakuza, I suggest you Restore the default template "Appearance of entries" of your Site news.
Please, post your messages in the correct thread.

done and doesnt seem to change much, still see only news entries titles and no entry text. I can read it only, if I click on entry title

Number of characters for a brief version:

If the number of characters for a brief version is set to 0 (zero) then you would get exactly the same result as your site is showing.

Yakuza, the field "Short description:" is not filled in those entries that is why there is no short description displayed on the main page. I suggest you fill in this field.

check this if you want to control the amount of text displayed on the main screen
uncheck it if you want all the text to be displayed


Number of characters for a brief version:
If the show brief version.... is checked then set the number of characters......... to 50, 100, 200, 500 etc (but not zero), you will then get the relevant number of characters displayed and a 'read more' link displayed (if applicable) on the main screen

ok I solved problem 2 posts ago like I said. No need wipe anymore and topic name should be renamed to something about Site News
