Some problems and questions

At first i want to spell that this is service you brought to your customers is good.
I have some problems, but i sort them one by one.
So that there comes up no mess, we work down all step by step. (I hate the mess) wink

Conditions given:
There are even different logins for the various ucoz pages, but the unique settings
of any user account can not be used to log in to all ucoz-sites. That is confusing!
And far too much.

So i have 'per user accounts' with email address as well as
a password. With this it should be possible to log on to all ucoz pages at once.
I know the security is better with different acc & passwords, but when i used it so
i become a big mess with my different avatars i need to work within my forum.

Problem:
At first:
This variety of email addresses and passwords is confusing! I have
the password of my main account to web top changed, so i cant login further with
this new password, as anymore directly on the web page & to the control panel.

Side effect:
Also, my main forum avatarname has been changed after thru the new (modified) password
for the forum as for the control panel! Sorry but im liked to work exact! wink

Followed by this mixup of names, i deleted my website and built it again with the
result that usernames again will be randomly changed to something i dont want!
I dont have a virus or trojan horse on my computer. biggrin

Second:
You recommend to use firefox instead of the internet explorer. When i want to login
to unet with firefox, the second input panel (password) at the login disappears anytime.
So i have no chance to use firefox and its better abilities to manage my system accounts.
I havent running different spam preventions or popublockers unless those who are rele-
vant to use the internet in general. surprised

I dont think that is caused by wrong or missing
settings on my computer. It works generally very stable and reliable.

Third:
The sites logo and its overall header lettering (site name) is not changeable to a
multi-line text thru 'customizing design >editing templates'. Or with anything else
here provided....
Sadly im not really good with css and html, the only thing im firm with is phpbb
where its templates can be changed really simple to my needs!
I host somewhere my own forum and i have full access to its filesystem. That means
changes in templates can be maded offline with a graphics program like photoshop to
match my recommendations.

When i want to change my site-title to a mulitline name, the changed html-code covers
then the rest of the remaining website. What happened?

Fourth:
The admin bar in the webiste/forum doesnt works with firefox. It can be started
but it doesnt accepts saves after. That means, i cant click with my mouse to 'save changes'.
What happens?

Side effects:
Maded changes on the modules dont appear after they have been modified. Sometimes i
have to repeat my steps a few times until they are stored within the filesystem.
What happened?

I'm using design 621, used some other before just tro try smile

The effect was always
the same that the site got messed up after i tried to change the site description to a
multi-line text.

Jo, I would suggest you make recent back ups of your website by going to Control panel -> Custom design -> Template Back up (Located at the top)
so that if your site messes up you will be able to restore it.

Now about the admin bar in the forum. I would suggest switching to a browser to make that save and then switch back to your browser.

The confusing password mess its just part of uNet. But I can give you a alternate solution witch would be to try out LastPass.
LastPass is a downloadable client that stores every password in it and encrypts it too your computer, it will (if you want it too)
auto fill in password slots and email slots. hope that helps happy

For the changing and deletion of your account names is cause you don't know how to change them would be to go to
uNet desktop and then go to U -> Settings -> Profile settings and then changing it there.

About the control panel login forum disappearing.
The solution for that (At least mine) would be to download Google Chrome (or any other browser) and switch back and fourth. (You won't have to do much switching)

About the site title being Multi-lined I don't think it is possible.. sorry sad

But I would suggest you post that question in Design Customization.

Jo, I'm agree with WXMusic, but matter of multi-lined Title is possible with image not with text. Go with photoshop or any photo editor and make some images having the multi lines title. and come back and go to Cp-->Customized Design-->Top part of website or site pages (some templates have not top part may be)-->and find the $IMAGE1$

$IMAGE1$ = Name of your site or you can add gif text or image logo.
Upload image via file manager or ftp and linked up instead of $IMAGE1$.

Thanks for helping me

I did first a backup before i changed the code cool

I tried to copy the necessary line of code of the logo and add that to the template with the
following codes <br></br> and <a></a> after the first code, to separate the second textline
from the rest.

It maded sadly again a bit of a mess because but the whole work hided then the login part. I decided to switch to another design and luckily this new templates are somewhat simpler
then 621. Its design 853

Isnt that simply possible just to copy the line <h1> and past it behind the first line to get my
additional needed text?

I know to modify graphics from phpbb where additional text can be added to a pic and
saved as new picture. Then upload it to the server and past its exact url into the
template/stylesheet cool

I think thats that not working in the actual templates is a task
the geeks from ucoz have to fix.

Lastpass is quite cool - i havent heard until about it. I always use firefox abilities to store
account passwords. Firefox is quite good but there are some limitations to store favorites.

Anyway, would you mind to use google chrome or its a safe browser? Because im not
happy with the search engine of google which has decreased massively in the past ten
years. Thats why i changed to bing for searches and translations. I think i will use safari
as alternative browser because my next computer will be definitely a iMac. smile

I have to think about the profile changes mess given from ucoz. I found out
that changed names are automatically added by the system when it found a name
once used. Im curious if that still happens if the email was also previous used.

What are you talking about? You have one uNet profile within uCoz web-services and you use it to login to all uCoz websites that support uNet. The only exception is sites with local users authorization. See more about it here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/7-13278-75770-16-1304086696

We do. In fact we recommend to use our FF customized browser package. See more about it here: http://browsers.ucoz.ru/index/en/0-5
If you face any problem provide a screenshot. Can it be done with other browsers like Chrome or Opera? Specify your actions step by step so we will be able to understand where exactly you you need to login

The problem wasn't confirmed. It can not be changed to a multi-line text via Builder. That is true. But not the way you have suggested
