CSS disappeared |
Dear Mods / Admins,
your system is bugged whenever I try to edit a link in either the CSS or HTML and press the save button a new site appears in code saying it is saved but when I access the file again its deleted to the point where I edited. It frustrates me, due to the fact that you offer this html / css editor I didn't make a backup, is there any chance I can retrieve what your system deleted? /edit: It's not browser related, happens in Firefox, IE, Safari... Sphirex, First there are not any problem with ucoz system, if there is any problem as you told then send screenshots of error.

I'm dead certain there is and as I said already it's not an error but a code appearing after I clicked on save. This bug always appear when u delete / change a part of a link.
Code -<ajax>-<cmd t="eMessage" p="innerHTML"> Template successfully saved </cmd>-<cmd p="js"> _uButtonEn('tmplFrm34',1); </cmd></ajax> |
Sphirex, the system is not buggy. There may be a few things that don't work from time to time but they are always fixed promptly by the uCoz team.
As for your issue could you clarify slighty what you mean. If you are using an external custom CSS document I would advise for you to use the default CSS document as that one is already linked into the HTML. If otherwise you are meaning in the page editor or design customisation could you please provide screenshots so that we can see where exactly the message is coming up. In regards to making backups that is your sole responsiblity as the sites administrator. uCoz have no control over that and cannot be held responsible for what you being the administrator have not done. Jack of all trades in development, design, strategy.

Paradox, why can't you read my post? Sorry for being harsh but everything you asked for is written there.
As I said of course I'm not using an external custom CSS document and yes I'm using the editor. Just click on a link press "delete" (not remove) and click save. The code is posted above, there is no screenshot needed because there is nothing else written. Of course I know that I should back up my work but I was just in the beginning, there was no need to backup everything but how should I now the editor is bugged. And yes it is a bug, I don't think ucoz did that on purpose. |
Natashko, first of all sorry for the late response.
That bug is now fixed, thank you. Even though everytime you delete a link or add something to it the " disappear and the link gets highlighted. Nothing serious but still something you may want to improve. |
