Problem With Robots.txt |
Hi all...
My website is at: fiverrfreak.ucoz.com When I try to access robots.txt, it comes up with: User-agent: * Disallow: / which means it cannot get indexed at all. Now I definitely don't remember changing it at all from the default. How do I get it back to normal so that google can index it? I have already tried uploading a new robots.txt to the root of file manager but to no success. When I refresh the page, it still shows the contents of the old robots.txt. Please help, thanks! |
WEST4LIFE, why don't you use search first. It has been discussed here: http://forum.ucoz.com/forum/23-4687-1 There is no need in creating similar threads.
There is a 30-day quarantine for new websites in the system. The more detailed information is here: http://faq.ucoz.com/faq/0-0-29 and here: http://faq.ucoz.com/faq/0-0-27 As a rule it is not reasonable to submit a website to search engines till 30 days after its creation have passed. If you still want to unblock the robots.txt file for your website to be indexed sooner, you can pay for any of premium packages in the website Control Panel -> Top Bar -> $ -> Paid services. Please see the screenshot: http://faq.ucoz.com/screenshots/paid_service_packages.png Continue in the provided above thread. |
