is there a way that i can put on our site a front page i.e when people come to the site they either have to log in or register to the site before before getting past the front page. Any ideas?

ExGAssass1n, CP - Users - user groups - set permissions to all groups. edit pages for guest.

i dont want to set preferences for my members, i want to make a seperate page before anyone sign's in to the site. so when you put in our site address it directs you straight to the front page instead of our site. I hope i've explained this properly.

ExGAssass1n, should it be blank pagewith login/register form or...?
If you dunt set permissions to guest access, they can just enter your main site name of for example forum ( www.yoursite.com/forum)
and still be able to accsess your pages..

i see what you mean about the permissions now that's easy to do, with the page itself i'd like to have sorm sort of style preferebaly something from our site with login for the members and register for the new comers to the site.
