STATUS: FIXED!

ok hear me out... was asked to figure out why no1 can register on our website... i tested this, I type in email and click out of the text area... then the loading img shows and it wont ever put the green check, could sit there for hours nothing. only thing it does do is displays a red X and 'E-mail specified incorrectly' but only if the string isn't in proper email format, dont get X is registered email already either. to see what im talking about you can see it here. anybodykillas.com/index/3

Anyways now that you know what its doing. i'll continue with what i know.

theme used is 681 just fyi.

ok the register was fixed when i changed themes then changed back BUT... the CSS was no longer right. pretty sure it used the default at http://s102.ucoz.net/src/css/681.css

ok so i goto the CSS and everything is as it was set... so i SAVE...

then BOOM register broken again...

well i thought maybe its the css code... but the i tried the default CSS... saved... still broken.

ANY IDEAS???

[ABK]Necro, I just tested the default 681 design and had no problems. Since the design on your website is modified, the problem might be caused by some third-party scripts if any.

either of you read my post?

sceenshot is not nessacary goto url listed and look for yourself ez pz, cant do something that simple i'm sure your not able to help me.

and for you sunshine, when i CHANGE THEME XXX, then CHANGE THEME back to 681. it FIXES REGISTER and works normal...however this changes the CSS to default. (i can tell this because of things like usergroup colors are diff)

ok now everything is fine...BUT here the tricky part... if i goto: 'customize design' >> "CSS" then click SAVE even with default there (http://s102.ucoz.net/src/css/681.css)
Register quits working again. only when i save the css file though, don't matter what the content of it is. click save = register dont work

SO REGISTER WORKS UNTILL 'SAVE' IS PRESSED IN THE CSS even with default there. - short n sweet

so with all that HOW YOU GET third party script, if it was that it wouldn't work at all, NOT only after i have saved the CSS.
wacko

edit:
well sorry... turns out you might be right sunshine. apparently i just was told this happened after something was added... however this don't explain why it fixes (until i save css) when i do the theme change thing. cuz i remove no third party code, all is same when it works and when it don't work.

thx for any more input, it might help

When you change the theme, the templates are restored to default.

Just to make sure - before you save CSS, what's written above the template: [ Personal style sheet is in use ] or [ You are using a default style sheet of the design 681 ] ?
