As you can see Google considers Hyphens as a separator and underscore as gluing two words together.

uCoz doesn't offer the ability to use Hyphens in URL !

WHY ?

example.ucoz.com/index/business_cards/0-2

Will be seen by Google as : businesscards

example.ucoz.com/index/business-cards/0-2

Will be seen by Google as : business cards

When i write the URL : business-cards, uCoz doesn't allow "-" and automatically changes the "-" (hyphen) into "_" (underscore).

If i have a site with "flash-animation" in the URL and you have a site with "flash_animation" in the URL i will rank better then you for "flash animation" and you will rank better then me for "flashanimation"

Hi, I was wondering how come Ucoz doesn't allow passing of variables between page?
Example like:
www.mysite.ucoz.org/news?lang=en

It returns an error 404

EWindfield, I am afraid there is no other way. And even with PHP it won't be possible to create this very link for Site News.

Hmm..ok, looks like I have to use cookie already.
Writing cookies is not a problem, it is the reading that needs a lot of coding. Thanks anyway

I guess you CAN point users to the one with a dash but unfortunately, you can only do so much as to redirect that URL with a dash back to the underscored one.

No, it is not possible. But I would like to note there are a lot of factors that are much more important for website indexing. And besides, what Matt Cutts is actually saying is that in case of underscore Google treats it as one definition, not as a single word, therefore flash_animation will be searched as "flash animation" and flash-amination as flash animation (without quotes).
