How to use private messages (send a message to certain users or group of users) through certain module as file catalog for example?

hezz, the PM feature is designed to function and work throughout all site modules. If you don't want users to be able to use this feature on certain modules would will have to add in conditional operators to the HTML wherever there is a link to the PM page.
